Class of 2000 Inducted into Association of St. Mark's
Tom Martinson 1980, president of the Association of St. Mark's, and Alys Reynders 1985, president-elect, inducted the Class of 2000 into the Association of St. Mark's on May 2000.
Keeping with the theme of serving one's school, the Class of 2000 was served a Woodman's of Essex clambake by members of the Executive Committee of the Association, a group that included past president and current trustee, King Mallory 1954, Eric Rosenberger 1963 (who had the pleasure of serving his son, Ian 2000), Ben Buttrick 1986, Karla Wildman 1993, and George Scott 1986.
After their induction into the Alumni/ae Association, many members of the class made toasts to each other and to the accomplishments of their years at St. Mark's. Congratulations to the Class of 2000!

St. Mark's Choir Travels to Japan
Fourteen members of the St. Mark's Choir and four faculty members spent nearly two weeks (June 12-24) in San Francisco and Japan, where the group performed for various schools and congregations.
In addition to their performances at the Huntington Hotel in San Francisco, Kyoto Nishi High School in Kyoto, and St. Andrew's Cathedral, St. Alban's Church, the Pastorale Hotel, and the Tamagawa School in Tokyo, the students also found time to see the sites and learn a little about life in Japan through their overnight stays with Japanese families. "It was a terrific experience for all of us," noted Director of Music Tom Berryman, "especially the opportunity to meet all of the wonderful people we did and to spend time with those kind enough to host us."
